Sour Morello Cherries from Kent were delivered to us fresh and added to a nine month old foudre aged saison. Further ageing and refermentation has drawn out a beautiful colour and complexity of cherry fruit, almond and oak flavours.

Bottle. Burning Sky online shop. Deep dusky pink. Thin and fairly dense, lasting white foam. Looks well. Nose has fresh cherry. Cherry stone. Bright and fresh citrus. Touch of grapefruit. Light peppery notes. Lightly funky. Taste has a juicy sweetness, with a tart, drying cherry stone character. Light and slightly tart on the palate. Feels a tad watery. Fine foamy carbonation. Light tart and dry finish. Promises more than it delivers as it stands.
