On draught at Bob's Bar. The beer is a slightly hazy golden color with a medium white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Aroma of piney hops, citrus and malt. Medium body with flavors of resiny hop, grapefruit, pineapple and bready malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Above average overall.

Pale yellow color, thin lasting head with a mild tropical fruit and evergreen aroma. A lot of hop flavor, bitterness is mild but lasting. A little floral taste at the finish.

Poured from 1 pint .9 fl oz bottle (pkg 23 Aug 2022). Near clear blonde with small white head. Grapefruit and pine hops with a hint of tropical hops. Decent, not a standout.

16 oz draft. Aroma is mild malt with soft citrus. Very soft tropical in the center. However it ends on very light pine. Bitterness is here but mild. Kind of non-descriptive and nothing really stands out. Disappointed.

Pours clear gold into a shaker. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Pineapple and melon aromas. Crisp with sweet meadow, melon and grapefruit upfront turning to dry earthy pith in the lasting finish.

A lightly hazed golden ipa with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous hops, light mineral notes, light citrus pulp, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, very nice and smooth. On tap at Churchkey.

Pours hazy yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of pine, lemon. Taste has bitter hop oils on a dry malt base. Palate has some rose hips, hibiscus on the nose, lingering pine nuts. Boozy on the throat.

Bottle from Joseph's. Pours a clearish gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Blueberry, lemon and grapefruit zest on the nose with some passion fruit and pineapple as it warms. Soft and pillowy on the palate with a nice bitter, pithy finish. Great stuff.

Bottled May 2022, drunk 7/9/22. Clear golden-apricot, large, white, well-retained head. Nose is spicy, dank hop, tangerine and grapefruit hops with strong, honey-like malt. Definitely a lot more hop character than recent beers from MBC. No flaw, resin or alcohol noted. Soft and lightly juicy with strong citrus, but good balance all around and rich, honey-like malts. Tangerine, papaya and light melon on the finish with strong citrus bitterness balancing the malt sweetness. Balanced but tending hoppy and bitter. More than you can say for most of their recent offerings.
