Bottle at Winston Fest. Clear copper color, no head. Malty, a bit papery and caramelly aroma. Light-bodied. Malty, lightly caramellly. German like dunkel. Clean although a bit flatish.

(Bottle, 0.5 l - BB 26.4.2015, at One Pint Pub, 20140727) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and almost white. Aroma had malts, caramel and grass. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, caramel, grass and mild bitterness. Afteraste was short and mildly both malty and bitter. A decent dark lager but not my thing. Too smooth.

Bottled (from Fröökynän Herkut). Deep amber/copper colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is mild toasted notes, some nuts, yeast as well as caramel. Flavour is fruit, some dusty earthy notes along with some yeast as well as mild nutty and toasted notes. Some slight off-flavours and aromas, but in general, good thinking.

Bottle. Aroma overripe fruits, light rot, apples. Lightly hazy deep amber colour. Taste is red apples, overripe, sweet and sugary. Not tasty and not good. I even get hint of alcohol in flavour.

Tap at Gallow’s Bird, Espoo. Colour is clear orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Sweetness, caramel, some fruits, grain and malts. Drinkability OK. Thin naturally.

BBE 11.02.2015 - Pours brown with a small white head. Aroma of bready malts, hints of rye, earthy notes and grass. Taste is malty, slightly watery and bready with hints of rye and earthy notes. Finish is smooth and watery with some maltiness and hints of wort and sweetness. Okay, slightly watery dunkel.

Aroma is nutty with hay, some roastiness and hints of vegetables. Flavour is messy with vegetables, worty notes, milk chocolate and some berries. Also some yeasty tones. Quite far from a clean dunkel.
