Punertavankuparinen, melko kirkas olut vaahtoaa hyvin minimaalisesti. Tuoksu makean karamellisen maltainen, kevyesti hedelmäinen ja hunajainen. Maku karamellisen maltainen, kevyen puinen ja kukkainen. Melko kevyt ja hieman vetinen suutuntuma.

33cl can from S-Market, Helsinki. Pours hazy, deep amber with a rather modest, off-white head. Fairly mild aroma, mostly caramelly with some faint fruity, hoppy and bready notes. Medium to moderate sweet with a certain bitterness. Hints of citrus is noticable, but still in the background. Fair enough as a low alcohol beer.

330ml bottle shared by djoeye. Filmy layer to an amber-gold body. Grassy hops and caramel on the nose. Mild taste of coffee, almond, and dried fruits. Malt-fruity endnotes. Soft in the mouth. Drinks well (session with djoeye and Finn, Tromsø 10.11.2015).

Smell of fruit, some hop. Dark amber colour, tiny white head. Aroma of grain, hops, some fruit. Somewhat papery finish. Mildly sweet, mildly bitter. Light body, flat carbon. Aside from the paperiness, quite nice and very balanced.

A nonchalant red ale, but just a few years back I would have been spectacularly happy to find a finnish beer this good. Times a-change, aye.

330ml bottle from Prisma Sello

BBE 11/03/15 - Pours dark copper orange with a small head. Aroma of malts, caramel, toffee, hints of resinous hops and grass. Taste is smooth, malty and slightly crisp with hints of caramel, resinous hops and grass. Finish is smooth, slightly crisp and malty with hints of resin and pine. Okay, a bit too easy going, but balanced amber ale.
