Rakki has been blasted with hops before setting it free. This gives it a rich fruity aroma and a lingering, bitter character.
Enjoy chilled (8–12°C) with slow-roasted chicken or a hearty BLT sandwich. Add on the booming sonic attack of Queens of the Stone Age.

33cl bottle, batch 33. BBE 9/14. Big thank you to Juti! Dark amber in color, thick foamy, lasting white head. Nice hoppy aroma with wild strawberry notes, yeast, melon. Flavor has yeast, malt, some mild hoppyness, with bitterness growing a little in the finish. Unbalanced, aroma promised more. Light bodied. Really could use a fuller body. Good drinkability.

330ml bottle, thanks Kowry!
BBE 01.08.2014 - Pours dark reddish orange with a thick white head. Aroma of caramely malts, toffee, grassy hops, hints of berries and sweet fruits. Taste is smooth, sweetish and caramely with some hints of hay, grassy hops and berries. Finish is carbonated, bitter and sweetish and mildly hoppy with some grassy notes and sticky maltiness. A bit unbalanced

Bottled@wPBFIII. Hazy orangeish colour with some slight haze, small head. Aroma and flavour are both pine, some berries, mild citrusy notes as well as some slight herbal notes to it.

A beautiful beer, colour is dark orange, a head is big and beige, also long lasting. The nose is succesfully, fruits with some tropical nuancees, grapefruits and pine needles, hint of fruit candies. Taste is fruitfull and slightly tropical, lots of pine needles, slightly rough, medium bitterness that stays until the end. Quite simple taste but succesfully. Almost medium bodied, balanced carbonation, fresh and quite smooth. Nice and rough beer without too dandyism. This mutt bites nicely.

Bottle 330ml (WPBF)
Deep amber color, small white head. Caramel, some American fruity hoppyness. Light-bodied. Sweetish fruity hoppyness, short bitterness. Simple APA which needs more power. Perhaps Raivoava rakki is better.

33 cl bottle @ wPBF’14, BBE 14.05.2014
Aroma is sweetish and somewhat heavy with some resiny tones and caramel. Flavour has berries, gooseberry bush, yeasty notes and hints of resin. Also some minerals and woody tones. A bit messy, but decent anyway.
