Die Stadt Paderborn liegt an bedeutenden Pilgerwegen. Heute ist Pilgern und Wandern voll im Trend. In Anlehnung an historische Rezepturen hat unser Braumeister mit ausgesuchten Hopfensorten und erlesenen Malzen ein besonderes Landbier gebraut – Paderborner Pilger. Naturtrüb, feinmild und süffig im Geschmack. Mit einer bernsteinähnlichen Bierfarbe ist eine leckere, vollmundige und regionale Bierspezialität entstanden.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an almost clear amber with a creamy and lacing, off-white head. Crisp, malty nose with some aromatic hops. Clean, malty body, slight caramelly sweetness with some faint, bittering hops. Delicious if a little to the sweet side. 250123

Bottled. Slightly hazy honeyish golden colour with a mediumsized creamy white head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is sweet grains, mild floral tones and some wood. Flavour is honeyish sweet maltiness with some grains and mild floral and wooden tones.

50 cl can @ home. Canned 13.09.2021, BBE 13.09.2022 Aroma has hayish and sweet malt and some honey. Foamy-ish palate. Flavour has sweetish grainy malt, some honey and cereal. A bit too much on the sweet malty side, drinkability suffers. Otherwise clean and somewhat balance. Hoppiness is rather mild on this one. Almost 5 euros of a kellerbier slightly above average is a bit too much.
