Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig herb, grasig. Geschmack herb, malzig, grasig.

Bardzo dobre piwo piwniczne. Spora i trwala, bardzo trwala gesta piana. Krachla porcelanowa, a nie plastikowa. Zapach intensywnie zbozowo trawiasty. W smaku gozkawo zbozowe, lekko drozdzowe ale nie natretnie. Spora metnosc, kolor ciemnego bursztynu. Swieze pachnace i smaczne. Goryczkowe. Bardzo pijalne i zadowalajace piwo w starym dobrym i tradycyjnym stylu.

Ein sehr würziges, interessantes Bier. Sehr wenig CO². Der Antrunk ist im ersten Moment wässrig, dann tritt eine malzige Süße zu Tage. Der Hauptteil wird schön hefig-malzig und schön vollmundig. Es ist durch seine leichte Wässrigkeit doch auch sehr süffig. Der Nachgeschmack ist mittellang anhaltend, kaum herb und interessant säuerlich-malzig-süß.
--> Ein sehr interessantes, komplexes Bier. Absolut probierenswert!

(Keg at Bischofshof Bräustüberl, 20130515) The beer poured amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, metallicness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, malts, fruitiness, mild metallicness and medium bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity, malty and bitter. A nice brew.

500ml bottle. Cloudy dark orangey golden colour with average to huge, firm, frothy to creamy, moderately lacing, white head. Grainy, minimally herbal aroma, with a touch of hay. Taste is grainy, slightly caramel malty, has a touch of citrus as well as hay .

Nice pour on this bottle, with airy head. Color is murky orange. Aroma is sourdough/pumpernickel. Taste is slightly sour, citrus. Mouthfeel leans towards the watery side. A little off from other keller styles.

Bottled 500ml (fliptop, MBS, BB 09/2012)
Slightly hazy orange-yellow color, small steady white head, some lace. Aroma of wet doggie/paper. Medium-bodied. A bit grainy, semi-sweet malty, grassy light hoppyness in the finish. Decent Zwickel, flavor is much better than flavor.

Bottle from supermarket somewhere in Wiesbaden. Dark golden color with huge white head. Aroma of malt, hops and honey. Taste, sweet malt, grain, spices, light bitter hops. Light bitter finish. Drinkable.

Bottled@SBWF2010. Deep amber colour, small white head. Aroma is quite earthcellary, mildly grassy, herbal, saltwatery and bready malty. Flavour is being quite much the same in a quite nice balance. Quite herbal and grassy towards the finish.
