English Style Pale Ale.
Lempeän maltainen kuparin värinen englantilaistyylinen pale ale, jonka tuoksussa aistii brittiläisten jalohumalien aromia ja jälkimaku on viljamaisen kuiva.

Bottled (from Ruokapuoti Lumo, Rauma). Copper colour, mediumsized foamy head. Aroma is soapy, mild wooden notes along with mild floral notes. Flavour is typical British floral and grassy hops with a nice bitter finish.

A copper brown beer with a blond and medium head. The nose is typical brittish, caramelly malts and wooden hops, also some more fresh citrusy and berry notes. Taste has caramelly malts, nice and quite strong wooden bitterness that is fresh enough, also some bread and herbs. Almost medium bodied, fresh carbonation. Caramell and wood, but fresh.

33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 12/2014
Aroma has butter, toffee, hay and biscuits. Flavour has biscuits, grassy notes, butter and floral tones. Also some toffee. An EPA with strong german hops. Starts to feel ’greasy’ at the middle of the glass as the English hops kick in. Unusual and a bit stuffy, but not bad. Quite hoppy for this style.

Tap at Bryggeri Helsinki. Clear amber color, small off-white head. Caramel, earthy hoppyness in the nose. Light-bodied. Caramel, pale malty, a bit nutty. Some bitterness in the aftertaste. Quite watery for this ABV. Not among the best Helsinki beers.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BBE 12-2014, at Bryggeri Helsinki, 20140417) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grain, earth and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grain, earth, sweetness, toffee and bitterness. Aftertaste was grainy and bitter. A very grainy pale ale: different but nice.
