Botte at home. Pours black with a beige head. Nose is sweetish chocolate, nougat, molasses and booze with a hoppy touch. Taste is sweet upfront, showing chocolate, cocoa, light molasses note, but also a surprisingly intense hop character with fruity notes. Similarly to the Enigma and Nelson hopped variant the hops are too prominent for me (for the style at least), although not as much as in that one. Also, albeit being hoppy, it's slightly too sweet too.

Dark brown color with low beige head. Aroma: quite a lot of aromatic citrusy hops, chocolate, nougat. Taste: citrusy, zesty, resinous, chocolate, nougat. Full body, low to moderate carbonation, moderate bitterness. This is good but it feels like there are too much of Citra and Centennial hops.

Bottle at BBT 7/2022. Med-full body (not as full as expected), med-high carbonation. Medium warmth, not too obstructive, at this ABV this is the expected level. Medium sweetness, med-high bitterness. What bothers me though is an overall slight lack of character, does not feel as rich as I expected. Medium chocolate, med-light cocoa, coffee. But that is about it and I expect more wideness and also intensity of a dark beer at this strength. Not bad, but not exactly great either. Glad to be sharing this with friends.

Bottle. Malty aroma and taste, roastyness, liquorice, chocolate, light sweet, medium bitter. Full body, malty chocolate bitter finish with significant liquorice notes. Ok.

Czekoladowe, lekko alkoholowe, palone, nuty śliwkowe. Barwa ciemnorubinowa, przezroczyste, piana znika do zera, lacingu brak. Goryczka zaznaczona, czekoladowa palona. Pełne, przyjemne, wytrawne. Fajne ale spodziewałem się czegoś więcej.

Taste in day: 09.05.2021. first batch. Imperialna nowa wersja jest bardzo chmielna, zywiczna cytrusowa. bezowa piana, spora, srednio trwala, barwa bordowo-brazowa, bardzo ciemna. aromat intensywny chmieli zywicy, palonosc, gorych, wytrawnosc, pozostawia na podniebieniu dluuugi posmak goryczy. Taste in 21.04.2022. second Bath. mocno chmielny, mocny i,perialny, gozki, gryzacy, gesty i oleisty. Piana bezowa, trwala, kremowa i do konca sie utrzymuje degustacji, mam wrazenie ze jeszcze lepsza od wersji pierwszej z 2021r. Podsumowanie. warka pierwsza - 4,3, warka nr 2 - 4,5. srednia z tych rocznikow 4,4.
