Okay. 9/8/10/8/11/8

Bottle from Bartlebier, thanks! Just hints of malt and hay in the aroma. Blonde. Malty sweetish flavor with hints of hay. Medium bodied. Satisfyingly hopped.

Flasche(Dank am Bodensee!): Pale golden with a greenish sheen, a bit unclear, quite stable small white head; mild grainy-dusty nose; spicier but still mild bitter-sweet flavour, very soft; honeyish traces in the soft bitter-hoppy and pale-malty finish. Good, good…

bottle from Heinrichs 3000 Kornwestheim. Straw-golden yellow, mid-sized white head. Malty start, some butter, herbal-grassy hops, biutter-sweet overall character. Quite good for a simple Helles.

pours clear light yellow with white head and nice lacing. the same flowery hops as in their pils (waldhaus diplom), but sweeter of course. malty and nutty flavour. I am usually not a big fan of helles, and I still prefer their pils, but this one is quite good, probably on par with my other favourite Alpirsbacher Spezial -- will need to do a one-to-one test someday..

Fresh and smooth beer. Hints of grain, hints of malt on a mild and smooth body. Easy to drink Helles, not too deep but refreshing!

330ml bottle [cross country Helles comparison enabled by bartlebier, thanks!]. Clear, yellow-ish. pale golden colour with average, thick, frothy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, snow-white head. Fresh hoppy aroma, grassy, with a close-to-lemon touch, pale malty, minimally spicy background. Taste is pale malty with subtle powder sugar sweetness, a grainy touch of oat flakes, grassy hoppy overtones with cautious lemon touch, nice, minimally biting bitterness.
