Eine Mischung aus hellem und dunklem Gerstenmalz und zwei ausgewählte Aromahopfen aus Tettnang und der Hallertau geben diesem untergärigen Vollbier seine besondere Note. Das gewisse Etwas verleihen der Spezialität die magische Kraft des Vollmondes und die vier Wochen dauernde Lagerung bei unter null Grad Celsius.

Bottle with swingtop 0,33 ltr: Hazy dark brown coloured brew with an soft dry bitter taste with hints of roasted malts, biscuit, caramel and very faint nuts.

Bottle. Clear deep amber-ruby color with eggshell head. Aroma is chocolate, caramel, mild earthiness. Taste is chocolate, earthy, nutty. Silky mouthfeel with soft carbonation. A bit on the thin side, but the flavours are tasty!

Swing top Bottle from Bartlebier, thanks! Dark brown color. Malty Bready notes and roast in the aroma. Medium to Full bodied. Sweetish Malty roasty flavor with caramel. Well balanced, tasty dunkel.

Schnapp-Fläschla (Dank am See!): Clear, ruby-amber coloured, small, but stable off-white creamy head, mild to moderate sweet-bitter nose of toasted/roasted malt with delicate traces of soy-sauce; moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, nearly medium bodied; slightly lingering toasty finish with an increasing bitterness in the aftertaste. Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass dark brown, nice small head. Starts fine malty, modest roasty, a bit earthy. Well balanced finish, light notes of berries. Interesting.

Flasche 0,33l: Kastanienbraun, leichte Trübung mit etwas feinporiger Schaum; sehr kräftige Würze in der Nase, dunkle Malzigkeit, Röstaromen, gemahlener Kaffee, erinnert an Rauch; kräftig würziger Antritt, kräftige Röstaromen, Röstmalz, kalter schwarzer Kaffee
