At a tasting, thanks, almost no head, brown color with reddish hues, aroma of butterscotch and honey drops, flavor of butter and candy with maybe a hint of fruit. Diacetyl at its best, yuck.

Bottle sample at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks rayaron. Deep amber-brown. Aroma of lots of butterscotch, caramel, and toast. Sweet flavor with butter, caramel, a bit of toast, and a slightly drier finish. Light to medium-bodied. Not good.

330ml bottle [Thanx to bartlebier for this one!]. Clear, rube red glowing, mahogany colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white to beige head. Grainy aroma, hints of bread (Graubrot). Taste is cautiously dark malty, minimal malt sweetness, dry, grassy hoppy overtones, a touch of straw, cautious spicy hints of hay. A bit anaemic.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear nutty browb with a beige head. Nutty, caramellish aroma. Medium body, burned caramel and a little soy. A little late bittering hops. A straight and unspectacular Dunkel - as Dunkels most often are.... 090914
