Gebraut nach Originalrezept unseres Gründers Ludwig Ganter, in dem sich traditionelles Brauhandwerk mit modernster Technik zu einem echten Genuss vereint.
Mit klarem Schwarzwaldwasser und regionalen Rohstoffen ein echter Schluck Heimat.

It is the typical classical German lager, a bit metalic, malty, bready, a bit watery, some hop, yellow and gold body, average, 03.04.17, tasting it at Bonfol and buying it at Freiburg am Breisgau.

Swing top bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear amber with a small, creamy off-white head. Sweet malty, biscuity nose. Rich, sweet, malty bode with hardly any bitterness. Almost more Märzen than Helles - but definitely a malt lover's beer. 160225

# 3860; 9/2023. Malty, bready, spicy aroma. Brilliant deep gold body; off-white head. Full body; malty, bready, spicy. Untypically darker in color and fuller in body for pale lagers from Southern Germany. Very good beer. 0,5 l, bottle, supermarket, Dottingen (Baden, Germany).

On tap at Ganter Brauereiausschank Freiburg. Clear golden coloured, medium sized white head, lively carbonation, light grainy nose. Sweet malty, grainy, light grassy and dry bitterish finish.

Bottle, 5.5%. Malty and nicely papery aroma with a faint floral aroma hop note. Almost clear golden colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is malty with a bit of the same hop as the aroma. Not as papery as expected. White bread in the finish.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with airy but stable white head. Clear aroma of yeast, with notes of malt and hints of paper. Bitter, hoppy flavour with sweetish touches of yeast and malt. Estery and bitter aftertaste. Decent for the style and not unenjoyable as such.

Tap at Beer&Food Attraction 2020, in Rimini, Italy. Pours classic crisp blonde, with abundant white foam, medium grained. Aroma is delicate of cereal. Body and carbonation are average. Taste is medium sweet. Final is a little too sweetish, of honey.

Schnapp-Fläschla (Dank am See!): Golden, clear, medium-sized and slowly collapsing loose white head, sweetish grainy-fruity nose with a mild herbal hoppiness; mild to moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, pretty light bodied; shorter mild bitter-sweetish finish. Nothing wrong with this, just a bit boring...
