Bottled. A hazy yellow beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of straw and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of fruits, malt, and straw, leading to a dry finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a pale yellow with a slight haze and a white head. Chicory aroma. Medium body, dry and fruity, again quite some chicory with a very bitter finish. Quite a mess. 300514

Very good, fine & dense just-yellowish head, fed by finely carbonated clear yellow-golden beer; shards of lace. Milky-malty nose, faintly spicy, white candi sugar impression, finishing with warm malts’ nose; Quite bitter initially, with other grains and/or oxydized malt. Again rather peppery-spicy, toasted, cornflakes, but hardly any restsweetness - at least until warmed up enough. Slightly burning MF, well-carbonated feel. Maybe medium bodied, probably quite well-attenuated. Bit mineral in the aftertaste. Not bad at all, technically OK - except for the Terschellinger plug, the grain, that tastes oxydized. It comes over as too polished, somehow, and even were it brewed there instead of in Aarschot, I wouldn’t dream to go to the Island just to taste this in its natural environment.

33cl Bottle from Secret Sint, thanks! Slightly hazy golden yellow colour, white head. Aroma of fruits, malts, yeast, citrus. Flavour is light-sweet, malty, yeasty, fruity esters, citrus, light wheaty tartness, yeasty bitter finish. Light-bodied, firm carbonation. Decent beer, could be quite nice in the summer.

Bottle @ home. Clear yellow to golden color, medium to full sized white head. Aroma reminds me more of a pilsener than of a Belgian Ale to be honest. Taste malts, slightly a hint of herbs or spices, lightly some fruits though I can’t identify which, pretty bitter. Bitter and a bit spicy finish. A bit fizzy carbonation, average to medium body.
