Bei dem untergärigen, weniger stark gehopften und malzaromatischen Edlen Hellen legen wir ein besonderes Augenmerk auf ein behutsames, aufwändiges Brauverfahren und eine lange Reifung. Das Ergebnis ist ein vollmundig abgerundetes, süffiges und dank seines besonders aromatischen Buketts einzigartiges Bier mit leichter Karamellnote.

Bottle. Clear dark gold sporting a great white head. Aroma and taste of grains, cereals, straw and metal. Moderate bitterness. Medium carbonation. My description is as boring as the beer itself. Luckily I always have low expectations when confronted with a Flensburger.

0,33 l swing top bottle. Clear golden, two finger foamy white head. Grain and caramel smell.Taste starts with caramel, little bit grassy, some citrus in the background. Increasing pale grain in the second part. Some low bitterness to the end. Okay.

Swing top bottle. Pale blonde. pear in the aroma. Malty, soft grassy herbal flavor with hints of pear. Medium bodied. Not unpleasant.

Bottle on holiday. Clear golden color, huge sized white head that diminishes fairly quickly. Smell and taste malts, a bit dusty, slightly bitter. Very smooth, soft, easy drinkable beer. Ok. 6-3-6-2-12.

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle, best before October 2018. Clear, golden with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, stale, a bit grassy-spicy aroma of grains and some straw. Moderately sweet, minimally bitter, a bit grassy-spicy taste of mainly grains with traces of straw, followed by a short, just slightly bitter, a bit dry and moderately grassy-spicy finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Overly boring.

RB Odense Summer Gathering 2017. Golden with a lasting white head. Bready malt aroma with a herbal touch and DMS. Sweet malty flavour with DMS, cardboard and a touch of alcohol
