Top notch fantastic, love the balanced, not too acidic, great grape Rissling feel. Bottle from Brewery.

75cl bottle from the brewery shop (bottled: 17/03/2022, blend ˚50, season 21 - 22; 8,1%). F: thin, white, quick gone. C: shiny gold, hazy at the end of the bottle. A: grapes, sour fruity, funky, plums, pears, woody, peach. T: medium sour fruity, grapes skin, woody, plums, peach, bit bready, pineapples, bit tannins, decent bitterness from old hops, soft carbonation, bit vinous, very good for the style, fully enjoyed

One of 3 Fonteinen’s many Twists of Fate ‘upgraded’ into their general assortment, a grape lambic using the well-known Riesling grape. Snow white, moussy, quickly opening and dissolving head, misty deep apricot-golden robe with strong ‘champenoise’ sparkling, cloudy and beige-tinged further on to even murky in the very end. Aroma of grape skins and seeds more than grape flesh but still conveying (dry) Riesling wine convincingly, green plum, orange pith, wet leather, peach kernels, pineapple (!), green pear, kiwi, urine, wet clay, old wood, sulphur (but subtly so). Tart onset, pronounced fruit acids at first, accentuated by minerally effervescence; this sharp, redcurrant- and green apple-like acidity, however, engulfs a sweeter and juicier core where ripe pear and sweet Riesling grape effects are present – the latter spreading out further onwards, through a bready and yoghurty-lactic, dryish but supple core. As often in fruit lambics, the tannins from the grape skins and seeds are more pronounced than the woodiness, but finally everything comes together well in a brightly fruity, vinous, juicy, complex and long finish, in which brief highlights of pineapple, orange and pear pop up from time to time. In the end, a masterfully executed, ‘summery’ grape lambic of the general quality level one can expect from this world class brewery.
Hapu, viinamarjane valge veinine, tsitrus, nisu, sidrun, nats sõnnikut. Ok.

750mL bottle pour at Tørst, 21/22 season, 4/30/23. Light haze, peachy-brass-bronze. Poop. Let's go. Also Riesling, tastefully done in the background with stone fruit and sweetness. Really fuckin nice if you like your poopy lambics. As with most higher abv lambics I do find the alcohol cuts the texture somewhat leaving it a bit loose, but the flavors are insane here with tastefully done Riesling.
Riesling! Rheinhessen!

Hazy, dull colour. No head. A bit of smokey note in the aroma, quite leathery, this has a sweet grapey note, earthy and slightly bretty character. Touch of leather. Pretty good stuff.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out gentle, musty, white wine grape skins, gentle funk, and some earthy oakiness. Flavour is very vinous, with bone dry white wine grape skins, lots of leather, barnyard funk, and petrol. Leathery, dry, vinous and oaky. Lots of petrol on the finish. Very good but not one of the best Druifs.
