A copperbrown beer with a weak and beige head. Aroma is rich of nunacees and quite fresh, toffee, some fruits, bananas, dark fruits and wood. Taste is dry and wooden, some caramell, also some fruits. The aftertaste is also dry with lots of wood, bitterness.Medium bodied, but feels quite light, low carbonation. Interesting aroma, british, dry and wooden taste, quite nice and better when the beer is warmer.

Draught @ Villi Wäinö, Helsinki. dark brown, lacing white head. Aroma was sweet fruity, spicy, hint of coconut? Quite malty. Flavor is fruity hoppy, caramel malty. Chewy, quite heavy to drink. Bitter hoppy finish.

Cask @ Gallows Bird Kekri 2012
Pours reddish brown with a bubbly head. Aroma of bready malts, berries, fruits and hops. Taste is malty and bready with notes of blackcurrant, berries, fruity and grassy hops, hints of spices. Finish is sweetish and hoppy with bitter fruity hops. Okay, quite tasty ale.

(Cask at Gallows Bird Kekri ’12) The beer poured mahogany coloured and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had black currant leaves, malts and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were black currant leaves, nettles, sweetness and malts. Aftertaste was hoppy, malty and bitter. An interesting beer not fitting to any clear style. I would have liked a heavier body.
