A coppery colour, a head is weak and beige. Basicly, a aroma is toffeeish and quite sweet, some red berries, also dark fruits, wood, hint of vegetables but that’s not bothering. Taste is malty and slightly toffeeish, hint of roastiness, aftertaste is quite dry and wooden. Medium bodied, low and smooth carbonation. Quite nice, but still slightly boring, more aromatic nuancess would be needed.

33 cl bottle @ home. Batch #435-6: BBE 1.2.2013
Aroma is sweetish and a bit stale with ripe fruits, caramel malt and toffee. Also hints of vegetables and resin. Flavour is a bit odd and leathery with some hops, resin and vegetables. Also hints of alcohol. Weird stuff, too unbalanced and the savors also disturb here.

Draught. Reddish copper colour, mediumsized slightly off white head, which stays for a good while. Very close to Fuller’s ESB in both aroma and flavour, but does have a bit caramellish and berryish sweetness in it. Quite bitter flavour along with saltyness. A bit more refreshing than Fullers ESB, and also easier to drink.

Draught@Beer Hunters. A bit hazy cherry red color, small steady off-white head. Hoppy, sweet berry-like aroma with licorice notes. Medium-bodied, strong English (Challenger)hoppy flavor with notes of licorice. Good malty background. Long hoppy and salty aftertaste.
