Bottle. Clear deep brown color with ruby highlight with beige head. Aroma is earthy-herbal, a bit dusty, some berries. Taste is berries, raisins, caramel, quite sugary, but tasty. Mineraly mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Interesting, and quite tasty. It could still use a bit more hops.

Bottle. Very pretty orange to chestnut, low offwhite cream. Sweet roast aroma, nice complex sugars, fullbodied, light fizzlestick, dry grain, broad dark sugars, spice, sulphur, mineral, light oxidized berry retronasal. Could have a more pronounced hop edge to stand against the sweetness, but nevertheless very drinkable.

Bottle. Dark brown color. Malt, chicken food and caramel in the aroma. Malty sweet bready caramelly flavor. medium to full bodied. Hint of roast in the far background. Mediocre.

Bottle. Pours dark brown-amber with beige head. Aroma is very sweet, caramel, malt, grains. Flavor is sweet and bitter, caramel, malt, burnt sugar, grains. Finish has some bitterness. Overall: okish, but not exciting in any way.

“Naabecker Bock dunkel“, Flasche (50 cl) per Post von Mein-Biershop.de. - Kastaniengoldbraun, klar. - In der Nase milder brauner Zucker, schwach limonadenartig. - Antrunk dünn und schwach lakritzig bittersäuerlich, leicht Cola-artig. Durchschnittlich rezent, für einen Bock zu leicht, milde alkoholische Wärme. Äußerst sparsame Herbe. - Enttäuschend dünner, limonadenartiger Bock ohne Körper, Tiefgang und Schwere. Trinkbar und nicht unrund aber eben kein richtiger Bock.

500ml Bottle - Brown with red tinges. Malt, wort, raisins and blackcurrant in the aroma. Malty and moderately sweet taste with raisins, grainy malt, caramel and blackcurrant standing out along with a hint of nuts in the finish.. A bit worty but enjoyable.

*Old rating. Best before 30.05.11. Nice malty with hints of roast. Fresh and easy to drink with caramel and roast. Nice bitter-sweetish aftertaste.

Bottle 500ml (MBS)
Dark clear nut brown color, small off-white head. Fermented raisins and caramel in the nose. Medium-bodied. Quite sweet bock: raisins, caramel, bread, just some bitterness in the finish. Dessert bock which is a bit too sweet for my liking (as a bock).

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein rötlichbraunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht röstmalzig, Karamell, etwas würzig. Geschmack röstmalzig, schokoladig, leicht würzig.
