Many thanks for this beer to kevnic2008. Brak goryczki, fajna etykieta Franciszkanskiego mnicha

Bottle shared on the train from Sulzbach Rosenberg to Nuremberg during the Bamberg Jolly. Pours clear, pale yellow with a fluffy, white head. The nose has biscuity malts, straw, dried cereal. Light sweet flavor with further dry cereal character, faint lemon rind, mellow bitter straw. Light bodied with average carbonation. Clean finish, nicely balanced, with more cereal and hay. Very drinkable lager.

Bottle (from Toom Amberg), on the train from Sulzbach Rosenberg to Nuremberg, Bamberg post Xmas jolly day 1 - 24/01/14. Should have had this at the brewery tap had the place not sodding well closed between 2.30 and 5.30 - lazy bastards ! Lightly hazed golden with a moderate white covering. Nose is bready malt, cereal, grain, light citrus. Taste comprises faint lemon, grassy, pale malts, cereals, bread dough. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying closure. So so helles.
