Bottle picked up from Edeka, Amberg and the second beer that was consumed Saturday 26th October 2024, walking around the garden after we had to replace our leaking kitchen tap this morning. Pours clear pale gold with a mid/large white head. Looks decent and taste is good, ticks the boxes, pleasant bitterness then dryness, a little herbal. Like it.

500ml bottle from Beer Gonzo, Coventry. Out of the bargain bin, it's out of date. Pours clear pale gold with a decent white cap. Aroma: cereal, light yeasty, some lemon, grass. Taste: light to moderate sweet & bitter, semi-dry, crisp, clean, cereal, biscuit, a little tangy. Medium body with foamy carbonation.

330 ml bottle. Clear golden with a creamy head. Dry hops, grain, straw, citrus. Dry medium hoppy bitterness, some sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively to soft carbonated, dry bitter finish. Average good Bavarian Pilsner.

500ml bottle, now with a green and gold label. Still 4.7%. Clear pale gold with a very decent white foam. Nose has cereal. Lemony hop. Grass. Light yeast notes. Taste is fairly dry with crisp bitterness. Some malty cereal sweetness. Fairly clean with burp inducing carbonation. Bitterness on the finish feels a little earthy. Good but not especially top tier.

Bruckmüller Pils 03, Fläschchen von Hausler, Nabburg. - Goldgelb, klar. - In der Nase etwas strenge aber leere Hopfenherbe, die an Beck’s erinnert, zartes helles Malz, ein Hauch von Kuhstall. - Antrunk schlank hellmalzig mit grasiger Hopfenherbe, saftig und schön bitter. Milder rezent, trocken. Im Abgang lange grasige Herbe. - Originelles Pils, das wie ein Supermarkt-Bier beginnt, dann aber noch die Kurve zu einem soliden süddeutschen Pilsner kriegt. Gerne wieder. Õlle on selline jook, et iga uus kord kui klaasi või pudeli suule tõstad, siis leiad midagi uut, sõltuvalt tuhandest-miljonist pisiasjast, mis hetke olukorda mõjutavad. Seega piirdun iga õlle juures selle tekstiga.

Bottle shared on the train from Nuremberg to Bamberg during the Bamberg Jolly. Pours clear yellow with a foamy, white topping. Good, crispy cereal character, some floral hops, biscuits. Light in body with average carbonation. Clean finish, nicely balanced, with light bitterness, hay, cereal. A very solid pils.

Day 1 Bamberg Jolly 24/1/14. Bottle shared on a train. Very light piss yellow coloured pour with a lasting white head. Aroma is fairly floral hop with a touch of citrus. Clean pilsner malt flavour, slight earthy notes and floral hops. Light earthy bitterness in the finish.
