From bottle, as Engel Hell. Grainy, citrusy, bready. Grainy sweetness, light dry bitterness. Medium bodied, oily watery texture, soft carbonated, dry grainy citrusy finish. Average Helles, a bit bland.

(Bottle) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with notes of bread, honey, grass and apricots. Malty taste with bread, dough, honey, citrus and a gentle grassy/herbal bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty, harmonious and well balanced. Quite nice.

Bottld (From Systembolaget Umeå, thanks Risto L!). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grainy, some herbal, grassy and mild sweet malty notes. Flavour is crisp malts, some grass, herbs and mild earthy notes. Crisp, but simplistic.

0,5 l bottle from Getränke Rücker, Lengerich. Clear pale golden in the glass, two finger white head. Good looking as expected. Grassy grainy smell, some malt and citrus way behind in the background. Taste starts with more grain, smooth, some citrus, low malty. Typical well crafted easy to drink Bavarian Helles. Nothing wrong but also nothing more.

Clear golden colour, small white head and some lace. Some sweetness, hop extract grassyness. Light to medium-bodied. Sweet malty, a bit grassy and metallic. Tolerable but not very good.

Flaska från SB. Gyllengul klar vätska med medelhögt vitt skum. Mycket säd i doften och bakom det smör och blommor. LIte smöriga smaker, hö, säd, blommor. Lätt beska men ändå ganska torr. Trevlig.
