S naší edicí Single Hop Ale máte jedinečnou příležitost prozkoumat a porovnat vlastnosti jednotlivých odrůd chmele na základě jednoho receptu. Tentokrát jsme vyzkoušeli chmel Nugget je vysoko-obsažná odrůda chmele pěstovaná v USA od roku 1982. Získaná z křížení odrůdy Brewers Gold a USDA samčí odrůdy. Aroma je bylino-kořeněné v kombinaci se sladkým ovocem a ananasem.

750ml Bottle - Golden with a white head. Pine, citrus and some spicy notes in the aroma. Pine, herbs and subtle notes of marmalade in the taste. The aftertaste is pleasant and Nugget reminds me a bit of Southern Cross.

* Good, nice fruity-berry hoppy and bitter. *
Clear golden. Medium white head. Fruity, tropical fruits, berries, light sweet, medium bitter. Medium body. Bitter finish.

Tap at Pivní zastávka, shared with Cuso. Bit socky citric aroma, herbal and floral as well. Fresh taste, herbal, floral, nicely hoppy, ending with a light bitterness. Good stuff!

Tap at Komin. The hops aromatics are not really that high here. Obscured by moderate malty sweetness, caramelly flavour, also high yeast-derived esters. The hops seems also kind of general fruity, slightly citrus and then grassy. Overall an enjoyable beer but I wish the hops shined more.

Tap at Zil Verne. Golden color with ,edit white head. Citrus hops, malt in aroma. Taste, citrus hops with oranges, zest, pines. Medium long hoppy bitter finish. Good.
