Brewed with juicy Moutere and Nelson Sauvin hops from across the ditch, this XPA is super bright and balanced with fruity bursts!

Draft at Hair of the Dog, Phrom Phong, Bangkok. Poured a hazy light amber colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is big Kiwi fruit. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, fresh, somewhat light, malt earthy, kiwi, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average to soft carbonation. Nothing special. Fine as a session beer, but a little bland and no defining flavours. It’s somewhat sad when you think this beer has been shipped all the way from Melbourne to Bangkok where its sold for outrageous prices and I have to ask why? This beer cost 15 AUD for a tiny glass and it’s so not worth it.

330ml can into glass. From Dan Murphy's, Mittagong. Pours a hazy amber with a large white head of foam. Aroma of wine and hops. Slight fizz, lush mouthfeel. Caramel finish, quality beer.

Can. Almost clear gold. A white head fades fast. Aroma of spiced pine, grass, green berries, crackers. Dryish with not a lot to hold up the hops - perhaps in consequence the spicy and piney elements boss the fruity ones. I wouldn't describe it as juicy but that's OK. Crisp finish with modest bitterness. Good quaffer.
