Bottle, 75cl, at TFODRBSG-12. An unclear, golden-orange beer topped by a dense, finger-thick off-white head. Malts, citrus peel, resins and some flowery hints on the aroma. The flavor is pretty much the same, far from as pronounced as I like my IPA’s. A rather English approach on an IPA this one. Piney and citrus peel flavor with pilsner malts and some bitterness. Full-bodied and pleasantly carbonated. A decent beer, but it’s a quite boring one. 120818

(bottle, 75cl) Cloudy, deep golden to amber colour with a beige and thick foamy head. Discreet hoppy aroma by IPA standards, except for some herbal and very subtle fruity notes on a mildly cara-malty and yeasty background. Moderately bitter flavour, medium to full bodied with a moderate carbonation. Mildly cara-malty base with herbal and subtle hoppy notes, dry mouthfeel; moderately bitter hoppy finish but without very lasting nor assertive aroma hops character. Disappointing for a real IPA. 16.V.12

Bouteille: Deep golden to light amber coloured, stable and lacy loose off-white head, light to moderate fruity- malty nose, some spicy hops - VERY RESTRAINED - in the background; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, pretty light bodied for a beer of 7.2 %; slightly lingering hops in the fruity-malty finish. Mission failed; a well drinkable brew, but by no means a hoppy IPA…

75 cl bottle, BBE 12/2015
Aroma is weird and stale with berries, toilet refreshener and hints of exotic fruits. Flavour is stale with gooseberry bush, some grassy hops, nettles, fruits and cooked vegetables. Some vanilla in the finish. A british IPA in a German way.

Herb-muffiger, dunkel getreidiger Antrunk. 11/7/8/9/13/8
