Malzig-süß-herber Antrunk, ausgweogen und mittel-intensiv. Etwas hopfiger aber viel milder geht es weiter, die hintergründige Herbe steht bald alleine da. Das Bier erscheint so etwas dünn, es ist aber noch erträglich. Im Abgang etwas malzig-röstiger, denoch eher dünn, immerhin wird das Aroma stärker. Der Hopfen wirkt hier stärkend. Nett. Nachtrag: Es dauert etwas, aber ganz zum Schluss kommt noch einmal eine angenehm würzig-röstige Note zum Vorschein. Test vom 13.8.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,8,9,10,9,9 - 9,00

(bottle) Clear, almost black colour with a big and fluffy beige-coloured head. Slightly sweet, minimal sugary roast-malty nose with a tinge of chocolate/cacao and shy herbal hoppy notes. Bitter-sweet flavour, moderately dry roast-malty taste with light notes of cacao and leafy/earthy notes. Moderately dry and roasty finish with light herbal hoppy notes. Tastes like a filtered version of the Greiner Schwarzbier I sampled before (12.07.08).

Bottle: Deep ruby-amber coloured, bigger fluffy, rather quickly collapsing beige head; quite dry, abit metallic roast-malty nose; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, soft MF; light, quite soft, a bit coffeeish and sweetish finish. O.K., soft, but not very convincing.............
