Der Starke für die besonderen Momente. Fast schwarz mit einem sensationellen Schaum und einem bananigen Duft erinnert er im Antrunk an Kaffeenoten. Im Nachtrunk besticht er durch sein volles Malzaroma.

Can pour from The Beer Store, Nashua. It's a cloudy, maple-syrup brown with tons of sparkle, finger-width beige foamy head with decent retention and minimal lacing. Aroma is very strong banana, mild tart fruit element and light roast. Taste is strong banana, bubble gum and roast, brown bread. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with frothy texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, been a while since I've had the style. Why don't I have this more often, or is this just a really appealing one? I like it.

Can from Covenhoven: pours mahogany with beige head. Aroma is banana and spice coupled with light roast and dark fruut. Taste is sweet and fruity. Spicy. Easy drinking for a big boy.

Is a weizenbock supposed to be this deliciously balanced between cloves and banana esters and malt sweetness? Cause this is delicious!

0,5 l bottle. Dark mahagoni with a huge more than three finger head in the glass. Banana, chewing gum and sulfur on the nose. Taste starts with dry malt, roasted, some banana, dark berries and yeast. Alcoholic in a positive way. Nice one.

Bottle picked up from the brewery webshop and consumed at home sat outside after a busy night, we had Homemade Meatballs and Tomato Sauce for tea and we're currently listening to Marc Riley on 6 Music. Pours dark brown with an off-white head, banana, and toffee jostle for supremacy on the aroma, roasty with a little tangy dark fruit. This is thinner than expected for the abv and I would never have had this down as a 7.8abv beer. There is a little metallic back end, overall it is fine and enjoyable but not reaching the heady heights of the Helles and Heller Bock or even the really decent Pilsner.

16 ounce can. Brown color topped by a dense rocky beige head. Earthy, baked brown bread aroma. Flavor follows nose with added notes of banana and clove. Some spiciness on backend. Very nicely done. Prost!

Clove, stewed prunes, spice cake nose. Mahogany, medium tan head, little retention. Tart raisin, brief molasses, plum. Medium body, moderate carbonation. A bit too tart for my taste.
