A traditional bottom-fermented full beer. A beer to quench your thirst. Bright straw yellow, particularly soft and mild with a fine malty note.

Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm (as Wieninger Helles - 5.0%). Pale golden, firm head. Creamy, lightly buttery papery malt. Medium sweet with well developed body and rounded mouthfeel. Low hop rate and bitterness. Quite beefy, yet mild helles.

(bottle) Slightly hazy yellow colour with a short white foamy head. Sweet malty aroma with hay and floral and herbal hoppy notes and a tinge of grape fruits. Light-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, smooth carbonated. Initially sweet malty taste, slightly sweet malty and herbal hoppy finish with a very light bitterness. Still a quite pleasant and aromatic brew, fresh (although my sample is two weeks over the given BB-date) and easy to drink. I like it.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pale golden with a small, creamy, white head. Malty aroma. Very soft and smooth completely dominated by sweet malt - this is almost liquid candy. Practically no bitterness. 201205

Bottle: Slightly hazy, pale golden coloured; sweet grainy nose with a faint tinge of aromatic bitterness; slightly bitter flavour, fizzy; short sweetish finish with a faint bitterness coming quite late. A decent Helles, quite spicy compared to other examples of this style.............

A light yellow beer with a thin white head. The aroma is slightly sour and malty, while the flavor is sweet and mainly hoppy, giving it a dry end. Too simple.
