Bottle from The Beerhive. Hazy pale golden body with a thin white head. Lively carbonation. Light lacing. Aroma of grain, ash and a hint of citrus. Flavour of sugar, straw and plain crisps. Thin body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Soft fizz. A bit messy - it somehow tastes like a Lager / Pale Ale blend.

Bottle bought in Berlin in September 2014. Hazy amber with a medium head. Sweet with toffee, grain, bread, and some light grapefruit. Mild and with a low bitterness. Drinkable but a bit bland.

0,33 l bottle. An unclear light amber in the glass. Small short living head. Grapefruit, hop and something medical on the nose. Starts unspectacular, low hop, little bit fruity grapefruit to orange, light alcoholic. Low carbonated. A mild and easy to drink one. Low sweetness and bitterness in the aftertaste. Not really bad, but could be more complex.

Malzig hopfiger Beginn, frisch. 9/8/9/9/8/9
