The hops that were maliciously thrown into this hop beast of an IPA are about to declare ‘Righteous Indignation’ on you by totally destroying your palate. Amarillo and Mosaic are the stars of the show here …need we say anymore? However, what we can say is that this is Wilde Child’s hoppiest yet.

Can at home in Hackney - sourced from the Trembling Madness in York. Pours unclear orange with a creamy, white topping. Not bad, has some jammy citrus, pear, mild rindy bitterness, understated pale bread. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with further citrus gummy fruits, low bitterness, nips of boozy warmth. Fine.

Can at the Bow Bar. Appearance - amber with a big fluffy head. Nose - orange and apricot, light toffee. Taste - more orange, maybe passionfruit. Biscuit. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture. The finish is dry and fresh. Overall - this was reduced suggesting BBD close but forgot to check. Still good.

Can from Hogs Back Brewery shop. Tropical fruit aroma with malts. A solid opaque marmalade orange. Thick frothy white head. Medium-heavy bitter. Immediate hop impact. The juice is more evident in the finish. More bitter than I'd expect from a NEIPA? Medium bodied. Light. Fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Decent enough but not as juicy as I was expecting.

Can bought from the Blue Boar during their Wilde Child tap takeover, drunk at home. Dark gold, mostly clear, with a small white head. Grapefruit and apricot aroma, naked alcohol and icing sugar with some notes of pear drops, pine needles and dried grass. Big sweet taste, just the right side of being too boozy. There's a hoppy bitterness mid-sip and a surprisingly dry finish. Slightly astringent in the aftertaste. Very heavily carbonated. A great IPA.

330ml can from Ghost Whale. BBE 19/12/18. Pours slightly hazy golden orange with a smooth head. Aroma of tropical fruits, floral notes, petrol, mango and pineapple. Taste is sweetish, malty and caramely with some stuffy tropical fruits, floral notes, pineapple and mango. Finish is sweet and malty with some caramel, toffee, pineapple, mango and tropical notes. Okay, quite sweet and malty.

Can from Freshfield Market Croydon and drunk at home. Hazy dark amber brown colour lasting white head. Quite a pleasant IPA. Some caramel, some pink grapefruit, pineapple juice flavour. The finish is lightly bitter which is quite pleasant. Got a iittle punch to it. A little nutty too. I thought it was decent enough. Decent drinkability.

Keg @ Whitelocks, Leeds. Cloudy dirty-amber in colour with an extremely thin head. It's hoppy-fruity with a strength.
