Keg at the Birmingham Brewing Co taproom, 18/02/23. Clear golden with an off white head that stays for the show ... good lacing follows. Nose is pale malts, grass, melon, straw, grains. Taste comprises lemon tinged straw, hint of vanilla, soft breads, airy malts, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Okay easy drinker as per most of their pale beers ... just pedestrian and stuck at the lower end of 3rd gear.

330ml can from the brewery. Poured a crystal clear yellow golden colour with a short-lived, frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, floral citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a light, crisp, fresh, mineral, melon, stone fruit, light floral hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Tasty and perfectly sessionable.

Cask @ Royal Oak, Shrewsbury. Clear pale gold with good white head. Nice soothing sweetness here, dialing down the bitterness a little with some doughy malt. Decent.
