Bottle (750ml; thanks to MartinT!): Deep golden, hazy, big stable loose off-white head; solid sweet malty nose with a robust herbal-grapefruity backbone; full sweet-bitter flavour, full bodied as well, smooth, herbal-grapefruity finish with a malty support in the aftertaste. Very good, but why not a bit drier.......

0.7l bottle. Hazy golden-orange colour, large and very creamy white head. Lovely hop aroma with lots of citrus fruit. Fulll-bodied, intensive malt base with detectable alcohol notes. Loads of lovely citrusy hops, slightly resiny, very fresh. Immensely hoppy yet not too bitter, the hops are balanced very wwell by the malt.

Aromatisch hopfiger Antrunk mit starken Malznoten, die aber durch den Hopfen weniger stark erscheinen als sie eigentlich sind. Süß-würzig, im Mittelteil kommt der Hopfen leider weniger zur Geltung. Im Abgang ist er kurz in anfänglicher Intensität zurück, danach wird er von Süße und deutlichem Alkoholton überschattet. Fruchtiger Abgang mit leichten Noten von Melone. Erneut ist der Alkohol deutlich erkennbar. Ein gelungenes Bier, das aber vielleicht ein bisschen weniger (schmeckbaren) Alkohol vertragen könnte. 13/13/12/12/12/13
