Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket, as "Thornbridge Bear State". Aroma is tropical fruity hops, citrus, peach, pale malt, grapefruit, with a touch of pine and mild floral notes. Flavour is above moderate sweet with a bitter finish. Body is medium. Gets the job done, well-hopped IPA.

Tap at Prague Beer Festival. A bit of diacetyl, but otherwise a rather clean easy drinking IPA, zesty piney hops character. Good one.

Large foamy white head left a froth on a highly carbonated pale amber coloured body. Resinous, cereal & biscuit aroma. Medium bodied, short sharp & dry. Biscuit, malt, cereal, resin, grapefruit & citrus tastes with a bitter hopped up finish. Top Drawer

Bottled (as Bear State)@Little Pub, Vaasa. Orange colour with a small white head. Aroma is floral, some mango, mild tropical fruits as well as some nutty notes. Flavour is floral, some tropical fruits, mild mango as well as a quite sweet sting.

Can, medium stable, dense bubbly head, a bit hazy deepish orange colour, aroma of citrus and orange blossom with a peachy hint, very strong and dominating bitterness, some maltiness and citrus trying to push through somehow. Good but a little to heavy.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Clear golden, mid sized head. Generous aroma of blood grape. Dry with medium body and crisp mouthfeel. Criso, fruity crackery malt, lots of grapefruit and yuzu. Piney very bitter finish. The crisp dryness gives it superb drinkability, and the hops are lovely.

Tap at Gremlin as Bear State. Aroma is fruity, spiky, touch earthy. Fruity, pineapple, citrus, light tropical, very fruity. Bitterness is there but not in your face. Further down the citrus dominates. Lemon and grapefruit. Maybe a touch of malty sweetness there in the background. Nice.

Smell of hops, some vanilla. Hazy amber colour, creamy white head. Aroma of spruce, hops, grass. Dry palate, soft carbon. Bitter.
