Bottle 500ml (MBS)
Amber color, decent off-white head, some lace. Aroma is quite weak, some berries and grains. Medium-bodied. Flavor is a bit grainy, sweetish berryness, light hoppy note in the finish. Nice maltyness. I suppose this quite decent imitation of real Zoigl (well, not had one yet).

Bottle. Cloudy amber, quite carbonated, huge golden head. Fruity yeast notes. Medium to light body, somewhat fizzy. Spicy start, like lemon-pepper, citric fruityness from yeast and hops, minerals. Quick finish. Pleasant.

7/11/11/12/9/11

(Bottle, 0.5 l, at One Pint Pub, Helsinki, 20110815) The beer poured brown and quite cloudy. Its head was large and lightly brown. Aroma had grass, grain and malts. Palate was less than medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, malts, grain, fruitiness and bitterness. Aftertaste was grainy and bitter. A very nice tasting beer - the looks and palate could be better.

Bright light copper colour. Spicy, with an aromatic malt character on the nose. Breadcrust but also light celery. Bready palate is somewhat light for the style but it has a balanced, well-constructed malt character.
