An old classic with an Overtone upgrade. This zesty, hazy IPA has a thick, creamy mouthfeel with punches of tangelo, citrus and Pith, with a bitter, West coast vibe bringing bitterness to the party.

Hops: Comet, Chinook, Cascade, Centennial, Waimea, Strata

Can from EeBria. Hazy gold with big foamy white head. Aroma of stone fruits, flora and earthy hop. Taste of sharp pithy citrus, touch of apricot, marmalade, earthy, dank and herbal hop to the fore, quite bitter. Medium bodied, prickly carbonation, semi-drying. A bold IPA that grew on me.

440 ml can, from KWM Wines & Spirits. ABV is 6.3%. Dirty yellow colour, huge white head that takes "forever" to settle (overcarbonated). Pleasant and fresh aroma of citrus, apricot and various tropical fruits. Citric flavour, also notes of tropical fruits, slightly sweet, with a fairly sharp bitterness in the finish.

Can from Lupe Pintos. Hazy golden body with a few chunks floating beneath a thick off-white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of papaya and dried grass. Flavour of pumpkin and cigarette butt. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Punchy and pithy at the same time. It’s fine but not one of Overtone’s best.

Can from Westhill Service Station. It pours hazy golden - yellow with a decent white head. The aroma is green, weedy, dank, pithy, zesty, pomelo, pineapple and a nip of spice. The taste is firmly dry, rather bitter, green, weedy, dank, pithy, zesty, waxy citrus peel, grapefruit, pomelo, pepepry spice and soem minerality with a drying pithy / green finish. Medium body and average carbonation. A lot pithier and bitter than their usual beers. Decent, but not their best.
