Can from Beer52. Pours black, small beige head, not much nitro magic in the glass. Aroma and taste has a dry roast malt, light funky herbal hop, some sweetness, reasonable lingering bitterness. Light bodied but with a nice soft mouthfeel and carbonation. Not a huge amount to it but if a nitro stout is all about being pleasant to drink and being sessionable then this fits the bill nicely.

10/9/2022. Can at the Vojens GP beer share. From Beer52. Pours clear very dark brown with a small frothy beige head. Aroma is dark roasted malt, chocolate, liquorice, dark fruits, nut. Moderate sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Slightly oily, lacks a bit of body, average carbonation. Slightly underwhelming.

[33cl can from Beer52.] No sign of any nitro on opening, just a standard peaty brown body with a very thin beige head; pleasant aroma of malt loaf and lightly done toast; smooth in the mouth with an oaty feel and a dry toasted grain taste; then some slightly bitter roasted grains to finish. A nicely made stout.

Rocky tan head left a creamy cover on a still black body. Malt, tobacco & ashtray aroma. Medium bodied, smooth on tongue with a thinner clear back. Malt, burnt, roasted, caramel & dark chocolate tastes.
