Mild röstmalziger Hefeantrunk, leicht bananig. Im Mittelteil trockener und würziger, die Hefigkeit wird deutlich intensiver und fühlt sich zusammen mit dem Malz fast wie bei einem Weizenbock an, überraschend aber erfreulich. Dies lässt im Abgang aber spürbar nach, noch etwas trocken malzig und leicht bitter. 9/9/11/9/9/9

Bottle: Light amber to amber coloured, hazy, small and pretty stable off-white head, sweetish-toasty nose with a good dash of sweet dried fruits, a light acidity underneath; sweet-sourish flavour, light to medium bodied; some - not unpleasant - hops in the sweet-sourish finish. Decent Dunkelweizen…

50cl bottle. BBE 25/06/2012. Poured hazy brownish color with a nice frothy dirty white head. Aroma is strong of banana with some light spiciness and caramel notes. Flavor is mostly banana, finish though has some harshness /cardboard notes which is unusual for hefeweizens, at least I haven’t run into many before. Nice body, medium sweetness.

Bottle 500ml.Murky matt medium orange amber colour with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, caramel, moderate yeasty, banana, phenol, fruity, yeast. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, apple, yeast, sour fruit. Body is medium, texture is watery - creamy, carbonation is soft. [20120211]

(bottle) Cloudy, chestnut-brown colour with a tall and light-beige foamy head. Mildly sweet and delicately toasted malty aroma with notes of bananas and dark berries, phenolic spices and a whiff of caramel. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a well-matured carbonation. Banana-fruity and moderately wheaty taste with hints of caramel; mildly sweet and delicately sour-fruity finish. Bottle. Banana, clove and toffee wheat malt aroma. Cloudy orange-brown color with moderate head and effervescence. Sweet banana, moderate clove and light wheat malt flavor. Medium body. Pretty good - would be excellent with more malt flavor.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Dark brown, nice head. Starts malty-yeasty, not too roasty, fine notes of caramell, sweet, also some fruity notes. Finish well balanced, not too dry. Very drinkable and good beer!
