500ml bottle from Beers of Europe: poured into an old βVeltinsβ badged 0.2 litre stemmed tulip glass three times, shared with no one. Lovely golden body, bright, clear and clean, fading white top for a head. Crisp and fairly sharp in the mouth, grainy nose and flavour: on the sweet side, yet with a good bitter finish.

Bottle at Hot Numbers, Cambridge. Pale to mid-yellow. Quickly dissipating white head in a sea of carbonation. Light aroma of grass, cereal, citrus. Nicely balanced taste: a well-judged hop bitterness underpinned by sweet malt. Hint of citrus sour toward the finish, then more sweetness. Not terribly complex but I dig it all the same.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe, 5.0%. Pours clear pale gold, thin but long-lasting white head. Aromas of pale malt, lemon, light cooked corn. Taste is more of the same. Creamy texture, herbal bitter crisp finish. Not bad.
