Tap at the brewpub. Brown body, off-white head. Hazy dark amber-brown body, lasting thick off-white head. Creamy, yeasty malty aroma. Creamy, malty, nutty, spicy taste that somehow didn't really sit with me.

Besteht aus Gersten-, Roggen-, Weizen-, Dinkel-, Hafer-, Emmer- und Einkornmalz. Tief dunkelbraune Farbe. Schön cremiger Schaum. Geruch reines Karamalz.

Swing top bottle, bought in Schnaid. 3.9% says the label. Pale amber color. Rye bread and wheat in the aroma. Sweetish flavor with rye bread, wheat, hints of citrus. Medium bodied. Loads of flavor and body for the modest ABV. Top class beer!

Bügelverschlußflasche : Hazy, amber coloured, stable creamy off-white head; bitter-sweet aroma, cacao, dark malt and caramel caramel, a certain fruitiness is detectable; mild to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, not really light bodied and pretty soft; vinous and chocolatey finish. Astonishingly good sample of this odd style and very well drinkable…

(swing top bottle) Cloudy, brown colour with a beige, medium-sized foamy head. Toasty, nutty and slightly molassy malty aroma with notes of caramel, rye bread and mildly yeasty spice. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to almost medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Despite its abv, quite hearty dark malty taste with notes of caramel, rye bread, a sour-doughy wheaty touch and rather subtle berry fruity accents; moderately sweet bready and toasty malty finish with delicately herbal hoppy spots and caramel in the aftertaste. Quite complex brew, despite the low abv. 01.IX.14

500ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, ruby red glowing, copper-ish brown colour with average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Malty, malt-spicy and slightly fruity aroma, a floral touch, cautious notes of bouillon cube, celery, black cherries. Taste is malty, spicy grainy, light sweetness, slightly fruity notes of cherry, diluted cherry juice. Smooth and soft - nice.

3.9%. Hazy russet colour lasting thick beige head. On tap at the brewery. Caramel malty flavour. To be honest any cold drink after 2 hours of cycling was going to taste good. Tasty malty beer. Not a full dunkel more like a polotmavy.
