At the brewery tap, Kreuzberg 16/7/2012. Hazy copper in colour, with a decent, off-white head and plenty of carbonation. Sweet, banana, strawberry and spice aroma, with some breadiness too. Flavour had plenty more fruits, caramel, assorted grainy cereal notes. Finish Was gently bitter. An unusual and pleasant beer.

Bottle @ Uncle Chris’ house in Fürth. Cloudy, dark orange appearance with a cream colored head. Weird grainy, sweet wheat, a bit spicy rye, straw, soapy aroma. Rye bread, strange grainy concoction flavor. There’s a lot of bready elements going on with some spiciness mixed in. A touch of fruitiness from the yeast as well but mostly a strange, grainy flavor, though it is interesting.

50 cl bottle @ Gastropub Tuulensuu as ”Brauhaus am Kreuzberg Pilgertrunk” (3.9%), BBE 10.11.11.
Stalish and light, but still kind of fresh aroma has some grainess and hints of honey. Flavour is honey-like sweetish and has some sugar. Almost tastes like some artifical sweetener. Weird, but drinkable.

Tap. Grainy, light salty nose. Cloudy brown, offwhite layer. Mellow, not at all sour like other multi-grain. Smooth, fruit, spicy, salt and bitter balance. Moreish.

Swing top bottle 500ml (Tuulensuu, BB 11/2011, alc. 3.9 %)
Hazy orange color, small steady creamy white head. Grainy, slightly smokey and wheaty aroma. Medium-bodied. Sweetish, wheaty, smokey, grainy, berryish. Very complex, unconventional German beer. I would drink this again!

9/10/11/10//10
