From notes. Nutty. Butter scotch fruit, dry earth. Very traditional drink, hard to get excited about.

Cask at York Brewery. Presented well with a thick white head on the dark yellow beer. Aroma with a moderate amount of hops. Well balanced, dry and bitter with noble hops ans a dry malt profile. Good palate here. Very sessionable.

On cask at the Yorkshire Terrier in York. Appearance - Nose - orange sweets. Taste - orange and bready. A touch of honey. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a fairly good if not refreshing finish. Overall - interesting and not bad.
