Cask, 4.2% at GBBF08. Weak but refreshing fruit aroma. Almost clear shiny golden colour. Small stable frothy white head. Good fruity flavour with a good rough hop to balance.

Cask at The Penny Black, JDW, Bicester, Oxon 06-07-08 This is one of those beers that Iโ€™ve had plenty of times but have never got around to rating. Pours amber with thin white head. Some toffee and malts on the nose. Taste starts out sweet with some toffee and fruits but then gets a little bitter and also as the description states there is a nice creaminess about this, very decent simple well crafted bitter, and well doine to my local JDW for serving two beers in such good nick.

Cask at GBBF 2007. A hazy golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of diacethyl, malt, and fruit. The flavor is sweet with primary notes of citrus and malt, but also with note of diacethyl. The body is thin. Too much diacethyl for me.

Copper with a small white head. Malt, grass and toffee in the aroma. Dry and malty, rather boring flavour.

Cask@GBBF2007. Hazy golden colour, not much head. Aroma is malts, honey and some wooden hints. Flavour is malts and hops. Really big woodenness in aftertaste.

(Cask at Wenlock Arms, London, 26 Nov) Amber colour with foamy white head. Fruity nose with earthy, dusty hops and dried apricot. Fruity taste with grapefruit, dried apricot and earthy hops in the bitter finish. Lots of taste, lots of hops. Nice one.
