Das obergärige Weissbier ist der zweitjüngste Spross der Debringer Bierfamilie. Dadurch, dass nur mäßig gehopft ist, weist es eine geringe Bittere aus und ist daher sanft im Geschmack. Alkoholgehalt 5,2% und Stammwürze 12,4%.

Säuerlicher Bananen-Hefeantrunk, wenig würzig werdend. Süffig, die Säuerlichkeit verschwindet. Würziger, malziger und vollmundiger Abgang. OK. 6/7/7/7/?/7

Light straw and cloudy. Big clean banana and malt aroma. Fresh-tasting with a warming marshmallow character. Well-balanced, accented towards sweetness.

Bottle, 5.2% bought at the brewpub. Good spicy aroma, turns a bit rough. Cloudy yellow colour, unstable white head. The flavour starts off with some spice, quite nice. Turns citric, a little sour. Rough finish. Not past BB date, but probably better fresh.

Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy golden, small head. Phenolic aroma. Medium sweet with lots of cloves. Soft and spritzy with good amount of esters. Reall well made weizen!

(bottle) Cloudy, orange colour with a big and persistent blond foamy head. Sweet banana-fruity aroma with a slightly sourish wheat-character and light clovy notes in the background. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Moderately wheaty taste with banana and rather harsh and bitter spicy notes towards the finish. Unconvincing Hefeweizen (04.02.08).

Bottled. An unclear yellow beer with a huge yellow head. The aroma is sweet and rather malty with a light touch of barley malt - and so is the flavor.

(Bottle 50 cl) Hazy, amber golden with a creamy, white head leaving laces. Distinct aroma of banana and yeast. Medium body with rather sweet wheat accents and very distinct banana esters. Dry finish. A nice Hefe. 091106

Bottle (bought at the brewery): Golden coloured, cloudy, small foamy layer; fruity nose: 1. bananas 2.cloves 3. lemons; pretty sweet (fruity) flavour, low carbonation, light to medium bodied; sweet-fruity finish with the faintest illusion of tartness backstage......Drinkable, but rather sweet and monotonous.
