500 ml bottle. Murky dark brown red with a fluffy head. Roasted nuts, malt, caramel, lemon. Malty sweetness, dryness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft to lively carbonated, dry citrusy malty sweet finish. Decent Dunkel, well balanced and with depth.

Chestnut brown colour, medium-sized beige head. Toasted caramel aroma, some herbal hops. Light-bodied. Quite simple, some toasted coffeish malts and earthy German hops. Easy but okish Dunkel.

Tap. Tasted on a patio in Rubi near Oberstdorf. Brown color. Hint of milk chocolate. malty bready flavor with caramel and milk chocolate. Very well balanced quality dunkel.

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Very deep amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts, raisins, some syrup and mild wood, but yet very much on the sweet side. Flavour is raisins, some sweet malts and strange sweetish wooden and mildly toasted notes.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein dunkel bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, Karamell, leicht schokoladig. Geschmack röstmalzig, Karamell, Schokolade, leicht fruchtig.

50cl bottle. Dark copper, frothy beige head. Caramel, bread, sweet malty aroma. Flavor has caramel, toast, malt and milk chocolate. Low bitterness, sweet finish. Watery dunkel.

Pours amber brown with a minimal head. Aroma: nutty, malty, caramel, and bread. Tastes fairly sweet .
