"brauhaus weimar Brown Ale", Fläschchen aus der Klassikerstadt, 15.7.2025. - Dunkelrotbraun, trüb; üppiger Schaum. - In der Nase matt brotiges dunkles Malz, leise Brotkruste, Haferflocken, matte Süße und leise Hopfung mit blasser Grapefruit. - Antrunk warm dunkelmalzig, dezent süß und zart säuerlich. Leise zitrusfruchtige Hopfung ohne die kernige Herbe, die britische Ales zu bieten haben. Durchschnittlich rezent, hefeweich, etwas dünn im Mund. Im Abgang ausreichende Hopfenherbe. - Ein Brown Ale, das beim ersten Schluck füllig dunkelmalzig wirkt, dann aber kernigere Aromen vermissen läßt, insbesondere nur zaghaft gehopft ist.

Süffiger, dunkel malziger Beginn. Cremig, leichte Süße, würzig. Trocken, mittellanger Abgang, rund. 10/7/9/8//8

Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! A dark brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of dark brown malt, some bread and yeast. Taste of caramelized and breadish dark malt, intense malty, some red fruits.

And again a 0,33 l bottle from kappldav123. Thanks a lot! Cloudy brown in the glass, more than one finger beige foamy head. Sweet malty on the nose. Taste starts malty with a big load of sour berriefruits. Less fruity and more dry malt in the second part. Some hop with bitterness in the background. Low carbonated.

Thanks David. Very dry, moderate bitter, intense dry, with a malty caramelly back. Very bitter, grainy dry, bitter in the end.

Bottle from the small brewery. Looks simple but good. Beer in the glass dark brown, small head. Fine roasty malty aroma. Starts mild, malty, roasty. Herbal notes as well, mild fruity touch of berries. Some woody notes as well. Finish well balanced, quite drinkable. Not bad!
