Bottle split at the 2nd CBJ tasting, thanks to the Wingmane, 31/08/23. Black with a tan cap that thins to the edge. Nose is big booze fumes, chocolate pot, ripe dark fruit rinds, bourbon, spice. Taste comprises chocolate cake, booze, dried fruit rinds, caramel fudge, bourbon kiss, dark malts, spice, light roasted tones. Full bodied, oily mouthfeel, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Top drawer kit.

22 oz bottle poured, picked upnat Cycle, and brought home to Seattle. What a treat! Dense. Thick near black pour. No head at all on this one. Lots of chocolate on the nose, with plenty of barrel. Smooth whiskey notes. Very smooth body. Thick mouthfeel. Cocoa, charred barrel, whiskey, a touch of peat, layered flavorful finish. Slight nutty feel to it on the palate. Whiskey is smooth, and lacks any overpowering intensity. Complex and original blend. Exceptional.

750 ml bottle. Flavor shows chocolate, oak, char, aged & young bourbon. The alcohol cuts the sweetness. Hot damn this is good!
