16 oz. can at Mikkeller & Friends, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out rich vanilla beans, followed by coffee and bourbon barrels. Flavour is rich as hell, with intense vanilla beans, coffee and bourbon barrels. A bit brutal and over the top, but pleasant. Not their finest work.

200ml shared with Matt, Ryan, Brian, Phill and the most powerful worldwide ticker. Coffee, roasty, some vanilla. Ok, but too much roast for me.

Keg at the Mikkeller bar, CPH airport, 19/11/22. Black with a tan cap that clears edgewards. Nose is chocolate, charr, light roast, dried fruit rinds. Taste comprises chocolate, coffee bean, spice, charr, nutty, kiss of alcohol. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Decent kit.

Can. well rounded imperial stout with notes of dark dried fruits in addittion to the roasted malts. fainter notes like a traditional port wine barrel cellar if you ever visited one in portugal. flavor is roasted malts, licorice, well blended, quite complex, pretty dry, lots of wood bitterness, bourbun is there but not in a big way, mostly adding an almost fruity touch to the beer. the high alc.% can be sensed if I look for it, but it is well hidden behind the wood bitterness. This is a good bitter imp stout sipper.

Chewy, herbal earthy base, medium full body. Cocoa, some saltiness, pleasant chocolate, praline profile, barrel notes fold in pleasantly. Dry finish, Fairly easy drink.
