Aus der Dose (bbe 11.09.2023) im 2022-08 getrunken. Im Vergleich zum George Bourbon Whiskey BA was bei Lervig gebraut wurde ist dieses hier deutlich nicht so harmonisch. Der Kaffee ist hier dominanter und das Bourbon BA weit im Hintergrund und zeigt weniger sein Einfluss. Das Waffelaroma ist hier auch zu entdecken, aber die Röstbitterkeit findet hier kein so hervoragenden Austausch und schreddert zu kräftig über den Gaumen. Es bleib hauptsächlich Röstbitterkeit, Kaffee und ganz dunkle Schokolade. Es ist hier ein tolles Stout aber wenn man sieht das es so auch deutlich besser gebraut geht ist man schon etwas enttäuscht.

Tap at Mikkeller Söder, Sthlm. Opaque colour and tiny brownish head. Aroma has toasted malts and coconut. Full-bodied. Sweet, roasted, plum, coconut, vanillla, light burn in the finish. Robust, tasty.

Tap at Goblet, shared. Very dark red, blackish body. Coffee and chocolate in the aroma, lean maple notes. Not that bourbonish, maybe. Citric hoppy touches in the lean, bitter body. Vanilla and then coffee in the finish, along with alcohol. Quite warming too. Bit too lean, bitter and aggressively warming, but tasty.

Draught @ MBCC 2022, Copenhagen. Pours black with a small creamy beige head and lacings. Roasted and dry malty flavor with notes of charoal and ash. Super smooth and full bodied.

Tap. Black color with beige head. Aroma is roasty, earthy, pretty classic compared to all the pastry here. Taste is the same, sweet and roasty. Oily mouthfeel, almost flat. Solid.

Canned 473ml. -at Goblet Zagreb. Pitch black coloured, medium sized brownish head, coffee and dark chocolate in the nose. Roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, light caramel, some alcohol and again coffee in the finish.
