BOTTLE 50 CL at 4,8% abv. Cloudy golden, only medium head. Aroma is only mildly fruity, tart and quite clovy and dusty. The taste is balanced slight towards dry, yet with clear fruity (ripe pine-apple) notes and solid tartness. Chewy weizen body, mild finish with no bitterness. Quite up to the standard.

Ein tschechisches Weizen, das es schon länger gibt...das spricht ja schon einmal dafür. Es hat schöne florale Aromen und ist angenehm erfrischend. Kann man sehr gut trinken.

On keg at Sheffield Tap - Cloudy yellow body, frothy white top. Nose is banana, clove, yeast and esters. Taste is clean and crisp with the breadiness coming to the fore. Enjoyable and refreshing.

Pleasant and drinkable hefe-weizen beer. Interesting aromas and tastes. Pours light yellow with average lasting white head. Wheat, barley, cereals, and a very refreshing banana taste. Good for the summer, also very well paired with spicy sausages and cheese plate. Nice!

Bottle. Earthy nose, rough, with clove and banana. Pretty deep, cloudy gold with a low head. Thin, estery, wheat, some clove and banana, tart orange edge. Bit thin. Not a real German weizen, but ok. Still, a bit weird.

Cloudy yellow, tall frothy head. Aroma of banana, yeast, spice. Medium body. Sweetish taste, yeasty, spicy, low bitterness. A very decent Hefe.

My bottle looks a little diff, it says hefe-weizen in cursive black on the front of a gold label; $2 for 0.5L. Looks like any other germy hefe, hazy with sediment. Taste at first makes me think this is going to be a rather ruff chek beer but it immediately rounds itself out like a decent hefe. Yes, OK to the palate and it settles in nicely. Starts to feel a little processed in the middle. Some decent hefe weis attitude throughout. Settle down thar, good boy. Lots of good banana without being nasty at all. Never over the top.

500ml bottle from Premium Czech Beers online. Pours hazy gold with a long-lasting thin white head. Aromas of over-ripe banana, sweeties, light spice. Taste is spicy yeast, sweet banana. Creamy texture, sweet finish.

Hazy yellow-orange colored, nice medium strong white lasting head. Aroma is wheat, strong banana and cloves, some bubblegum. Taste is moderate sweet bubblegum, more banana less cloves, bit bready yeasty, and bit lemony. Medium to low bodied, low to medium carbonation. Surprisingly good!
