Bottle at home from Laithwaite. That's a hell of a lot of banana! It was right there on first sip and dominated the whole flavour profile. It was drunk with some fruit bread and pate at the end of a heavy afternoon of beer, port and schnapps and really rejuvenated the taste buds with a sharp, almost sour, flavour. It was a perfect beer for that time, but too much to want to revisit.

0.5l bottle. Malty aroma, yeasty and banana notes. Hazy golden color, white head. Malty taste, banana, yeast, light sour and bitter. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation and malty sour and bitter finish. Good.

Barwa jasnozłota, zmętnione, piana biała, umiarkowanie obfita, średnio trwała. W aromacie bana, trochę goździka. W smaku wytrawne, spora kwaskowość, sporo banana, goździk też jest, czuć pszeniczną podbudowę. Wysycenie, ciało i pijalność optymalne. Klasyka, nie ma się do czego zbytnio przyczepić.

Sampled from a 16 oz brown bottle this beer poured a cloudy orange-amber color with a large foamy orange-white head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was yeasty, doughy and had light notes of citrus, pepper and mustiness. The flavor was bready, grainy and yeasty with light bubblegum, clove and a touch of medicine. Medium length finish. Medium body. Disappointing.

120ml taster at Bootleggers Craft Beer Bar. A wheat haze to a golden body. Low white head, fair lacing. Banana sweetness on the nose. Ripe banana taste joined by grain and wheat. Rounded ending, sweet. Drinkable, far too sweet. (Copenhagen 10.05.2017).

50cl bottle from Westholme Stores, Goring. A hazy straw colour with a thick white head; aroma of grain and banana; creamy in the mouth with a grainy body, some banana, and a grassy bitterness; then a sweetish finish lacking the expected spice, but that aside a pretty good WEizen.

50 cl bottle at Casa Maravillas. Pours cloudy greenish golden. White head is foamy, thick and huge. Aroma is intense: banana, smoky, leather. Mouthfeel is fizzy, refreshing, medium-bodied. Smoky, medium-lasting finish with no bitterness.
